Hi, I’m Alyssa, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Kansas. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel supported and empowered as you navigate life’s challenges, deepen your self-understanding, and work toward meaningful change. I provide psychotherapy for teens and adults, creating a collaborative and compassionate environment where you can explore your experiences and move toward the life you want to live. Much of my experience has been in crisis intervention, supporting individuals experiencing emotional distress, suicidal thoughts, and non-suicidal self-injury.
I have also worked with clients navigating grief and major life transitions, helping them process difficult emotions, build resilience, and move forward with greater self-compassion. Additionally, I have experience working with veterans, military families, and caregivers, recognizing the unique challenges these roles and experiences can bring.
Therapy is an opportunity to develop practical skills, gain insight, and strengthen your ability to cope with life’s challenges. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and strengths-based approaches, my approach is tailored to your goals, needs, and experiences to help you create change that aligns with your values.
