Dorothy Horn

LMSW, LMAC
THERAPIST

Dorothy Horn has worked in the mental health field since 2018. As a therapist, Dorothy supports the use of multiple treatment modalities that can be tailored to the needs of each individual client. She is trained in a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Solution-Focused, and Family Systems. When working with addictions specifically, Dorothy understands that many of the individuals with a substance use disorder also have mental health complexities and believes both must be treated for favorable outcomes. Prior to joining the team at Integrated Clinical Services, Dorothy was a Counselor at Arista Recovery, Johnson County Mental Health, and has also worked in residential treatment settings, where she facilitated group therapy and provided individual counseling services.

Dorothy holds two degrees from the University of Kansas: a bachelor’s in Developmental Psychology and a master’s in Social Work. In her free time, Dorothy enjoys watching documentaries and psychological thrillers, tending to her houseplants and solving puzzles of various kinds. She also enjoys living vicariously through her oldest son, who lives in New York City, and her youngest son, who lives in Southern California.
